Kerry Washington Is Hosting a Yoga Session With Laverne Cox to Raise Money for the Transgender Law Center

Kerry Washington has been leading her millions of Instagram followers in yoga and meditation videos on the social media platform. "I have loved coming together with you all and doing a little mindful movement every week," she wrote in an Instagram caption. And while she may not be a certified yoga teacher, a fitness trainer, or a meditation instructor - and she's the first to admit so - Washington said it helps her have a deeper connection with her breath, her body, and with all of us.

On Juneteenth, which is Friday, June 19, Washington is leading another yoga session on her Instagram Live page at 4 p.m. PST. She said, "Let me know what YOU need this week in order to move toward more love for yourself and your body." Afterward, Laverne Cox will join Washington for a "special conversation on PRIDE and being in our bodies with LOVE." During their conversation, Washington said they will be raising money for the Transgender Law Center "as we affirm that ALL BLACK LIVES MATTER."
