One month after Lizzo shared her workout routine on TikTok - upper-body, core, and lower-body sessions - the singer posted a video that we can only properly classify as the holy grail of arguments against fat shaming. As videos of Lizzo exercising and posing in front of the camera play out, she explains in a voice-over what we all need to hear: that everyone, no matter their size, can exercise and that, contrary to popular belief, how you look on the outside isn't always the indicator of health. Plus, you should keep your opinions to yourself.

"Hey, so I've been working out consistently for the last five years, and it may come as a surprise to some of y'all, but I'm not working out to have your ideal body type," Lizzo starts. "I'm working out to have my ideal body type, and do you know what type that is? None of your f*cking business because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job, and I stay on my job." Yes, Lizzo - we hear you!

It gets better, though. Lizzo wants you to know that the next time you want to judge someone for drinking kale smoothies, eating McDonald's, working out, or not working out, look at your own choices and your own body instead. "Because health is not just determined on what you look like on the outside, health is also what happens on the inside." This is undeniably true - health does come in every size.
