4 Costco Bakery Items That Could Be Coming Soon For Spring

Costco's beloved baked goods are hard to resist when you're strolling through the bakery section of the warehouse. When choosing between the collection of fresh-baked cakes, pies, or cookies, the possibilities seem endless. Other times, these delights are here one day and gone the next. Luckily, some seasonal items could be coming back, just in time for spring!

The megastore's vast assortment of freshly baked sweet and savory items aren't always available in every store, leaving some bakery items to be hard to come by. But with the new season approaching, a few items could return to the bakery area. Keep looking to find exactly which of your favorite treats could be coming soon! (For more, here are 6 Things You'll See at Costco This Year.)

Raspberry Lemon Muffin

Of all of the Costco muffins, this raspberry lemon flavor is ranked healthier than many of the others. This was another fairly new release from the warehouse bakery, with the Instagram fan account @costcobuys posting about the muffins over a year ago.

It seems like the muffins were in popular demand at the time of its debut, because shortly after, one Redditor wrote, "I just tried these and thought I might start to go to second closest Costco for these, as my usual does not have them."

In another Reddit thread from a year ago, u/Ultimate_Fluff asked fellow users if they're having just as much trouble finding the item in stores. The user wrote that they are "Still waiting for these babies in Avondale, AZ. No luck in Instacart either … Anyone in Arizona or neighboring states have these at their Costco?"

Like most Costco bakery muffins, this fruity flavor combo comes in a pack of 6 and is priced around $7.99.

Ham & Cheese Pastry

Costco Ham and Cheese Pastry

Often likened to a ham and cheese croissant, these $7.99 flaky pastries contain a cheese-filled center with chopped ham that's described in a Reddit thread title as "Really, really good," (especially once reheated in the oven or air fryer!). The pastry's overall existence is only a year old, making its debut in the Spring of 2021. But some shoppers have had trouble finding it in stores.

Reddit user r/AIW22 commented on the disappearance of the items a month ago, writing that it was "Never to be seen again at any DC area Costcos" after purchasing the pastries several months ago.

Another Redditor u/GrrreatFrostedFlakes respond to the comment by explaining that as a Costco baker, certain product availability could differ based on region, as opposed to individual stores.

The good news is that in some locations, the pastries are starting slowly to reappear in select locations!

Raspberry Crumble Cookies

The bakery's $9.99 Raspberry Crumble Cookies have garnered a steady following of fans who adore this delightful treat. So when one location discontinued the cookies recently, a member took to Reddit to express their disappointment for the cookie's disappearance. After searching for the cookies at multiple Costco warehouses, Reddit user u/kepler16bee discovered that "The next next closest (Kirkland, WA actually!) bakery dept told me they had been discontinued. Whyyyyyyyyy 😭😭😭"

There's hope anyone missing the beloved treat ever since Instagram account @costco_empties posted that the raspberry crumble cookies were back and even suggests warming them up for extra deliciousness!

Key Lime Pie

Shoppers and fans were thrilled when Instagram account @costcodeals spotted the key lime pie in the warehouse bakery section last summer.

The key lime pie isn't just a Costco classic, but enough pie to feed gatherings of all sizes, as one pie weighs over 4 pounds—perfect to share with others! Shoppers can remain hopeful that the beloved pie will likely return in time for the warmer seasons. The dessert is usually priced at $14.99.

Luckily some other items are already in the warehouse. Here is all the info on the Bakery Items and Treats for Spring Costco Just Brought Back For Spring.
