Do not wear a mask during exercise, says the WHO

The World Health Organization says that wearing a mask during quarantine or bike rides can be harmful. Health officials recommend wearing face masks outdoors and in crowded indoor areas to curb the spread of the novel corona virus. However, the important preventive measure during training is to keep a physical distance of at least one meter from others. "People should NOT wear masks while exercising because masks can affect their ability to breathe comfortably," says WHO in its series of coronavirus mythbusters. Exercise, especially running or jogging, increases heart and respiratory rate, and a mask can prevent enough oxygen from getting into a person's lungs.
